Beneficial qualities of strawberry

Strawberries are of high nutritional value as they are rich in vitamins C,E,A (carotine), phosphorus, iodine, calcium, magnesium, potassium, selenium, tanine and fibre.  The fruit, its leaves and roots have been used as medicine for centuries since they are considered to reduce the risk of osteoporosis, heart desease and arthritis while at the same time it affects the good balance of body fluids and blood pressure.  Last but not least, strawbberies are used to produce cosmetics since they are known to strengthen the skin making it softer at the same time.
